Mirzapur Movie Now Streaming: Explosive Extended Cut Brings More Action, Drama & Shocking Twists!

Mirzapur Movie Now Streaming is the update every Purvanchal crime-saga fan has been waiting for since the theatre run ended, and I could not wait to write about it. I am Khushi Vaid, and I have followed Guddu, Kaleen Bhaiya, and Munna Bhaiya since the very first season, so this drop feels personal to me.

Mirzapur: The Movie landed on Prime Video on October 30, 2026, and the streaming version is the Mirzapur The Movie extended cut, with roughly 15 extra minutes that audiences did not see on the big screen.

In this guide, I explain the Mirzapur The Movie OTT release date, the Mirzapur extended cut runtime, the exact steps to watch Mirzapur The Movie on Prime Video, the cast, the box office numbers and my spoiler-free opinion.

One more thing worth knowing before you watch Mirzapur The Movie on Prime Video: there is no confirmed update yet on streaming rights for other language versions, so if you are waiting for a dub, keep an eye on the Prime Video page.

The Mirzapur The Movie OTT release date matched the window the makers had planned, which tells me the team had a clear strategy from day one.

What Is the Mirzapur The Movie Extended Cut, and How Long Is It?

Let me answer the questions I see most often in the comments. The Mirzapur the Movie extended cut is a longer version of the film that adds previously unseen scenes to the story you may have watched in cinemas. The makers describe it as never-before-seen footage, and reports put the addition at around 15 minutes.

Now the numbers on the Mirzapur extended cut runtime, because readers love clear data. The Mirzapur extended cut runtime is about 3 hours 31 minutes (roughly 211 minutes). The theatrical version ran 3 hours 17 minutes (197 minutes). That means the extra footage is nearly 14 to 15 minutes, which is about 7% longer than the cinema cut.

The Mirzapur The Movie extended cut is a three-and-a-half-hour commitment, so I suggest watching it in two sittings. Prime Video lets you pause and resume, and honestly the Mirzapur extended cut runtime works better when you treat it like two long episodes rather than one marathon.

I would break at a natural pause around the halfway mark so you stay sharp for the second half.

Cast and Crew of Mirzapur: The Movie

Before the Mirzapur The Movie OTT release date, many fans asked who is behind the camera: Gurmmeet Singh, who earlier worked on episodes of the series, directed the film and Puneet Krishna wrote the story. It is presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, with Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar producing.

On screen, the core team returns:

• Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya

• Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit

• Divyenndu as Munna Tripathi, the fan favourite whose return excited so many people

• Rasika Dugal as Beena Tripathi

• Shweta Tripathi Sharma as Golu

• Harshita Gaur as Dimpy Pandit

The ensemble also includes Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Sushant Singh, Mohit Malik, Sheeba Chadha, Rajesh Tailang and Kulbhushan Kharbanda

That is a cast of well over a dozen recognisable faces, which is exactly why the Mirzapur extended cut runtime does not feel empty on paper.

My Honest Take: Is the Extended Cut Worth Your Time?

Here is my personal opinion on why Mirzapur Movie Now Streaming matters, written without spoilers. What makes the Mirzapur universe interesting is its unpredictable characters, dangerous rivalries, and the constant fight for control.

The extended cut is also a reason for fans to revisit the story and explore the additional content. If you enjoy dark crime dramas with plenty of tension, this movie deserves a place on your watchlist.

What I can say from following this franchise is this: the series has always been about power, family and revenge, and a film gives the makers room to let those conflicts breathe. The Mirzapur The Movie extended cut matters in that context because Mirzapur is built on small, slow-burn moments between big action beats.

When the Mirzapur extended cut runtime adds around 15 minutes, you are most likely getting more of those quiet pressure moments, not just more gunfire.

Here is the checklist I use for every review, so you can judge the film on the same points:

I recommend you watch Mirzapur the Movie on Prime Video if you are one of three types of viewers: people who loved all three seasons, people who skipped the cinema run, and people who want to rewatch the Mirzapur the Movie extended cut. If you dislike violence, remember the film carries an “A” certificate, and it is strictly for adult viewers.

Do You Need to Watch the Series Before the Movie?

Short answer: with Mirzapur Movie Now Streaming, watching the series first helps, but it is not mandatory. The film is positioned as an interquel, meaning it fits between the events of the series, and it is designed to be accessible to newcomers while rewarding longtime fans.

My suggestion, now that the Mirzapur The Movie OTT release date has passed:
