Son of Sardaar Director’s Son Dies in Car Crash, Friend Arrested
Jalaj Dhir, the 18-year-old son of filmmaker Ashwni Dhir, died in a car crash in Mumbai on November 23. He was in the car with three friends when the driver, Sahil Mendha, lost control of the vehicle and hit a divider. Jalaj and his friend Sarth Kaushik were badly hurt and later passed away in the hospital. Sahil and Jedan Jimmy survived with minor injuries. Sahil, who was drunk, has been arrested.
Ashwni Dhir was in Goa for a film premiere when the accident happened.
