OTT Releases This Week: 7 Exciting & Unmissable Shows and Movies, From Vvaan to Dilwali Diwali

OTT Releases This Week are loaded with festive energy, big stars and at least 13 fresh titles landing between 2 and 8 November 2026. I am Khushi Vaid, and writing for Just Web Series, which has reviewed 450+ web series and 300+ movies

I have learned that a crowded calendar only helps when someone tells you what to press play on first. So, I did the filtering for you. Below are seven titles I picked after checking every platform, language and date, from the folklore thriller Vvaan to the family entertainer Dilwali Diwali Netflix.

If you want Hindi movies on OTT, a spy thriller or a Malayalam action film, this list has a slot for your Diwali weekend. One honest note before we begin: the Vvaan OTT release date is still unconfirmed by the makers, and I will explain exactly what is known and what is only speculation.

Which Are the Best OTT Releases This Week You Should Watch First?

If you only have time for a quick scan, this table is the fastest answer. These are the seven OTT releases this week that I rate as the most watchable, based on star cast, platform reach and how much festive buzz each one has.

Five of the seven are Hindi movies on OTT, and five of the seven stream on a platform I cover in the Netflix, ZEE5 or Prime Video sections of this site. That makes this one of the strongest weeks for Hindi movies on OTT in the whole of November.

1. Dilwali Diwali Netflix: The Festive Family Pick

My first pick among the OTT Releases This Week is Dilwali Diwali Netflix, which premieres on 5 November 2026. It is a Hindi family drama with comedy and, among Hindi movies on OTT, a direct-to-streaming one, so there is no theatrical run to wait for.

Reports describe it as a mix of emotional moments, festive celebrations and family drama, and that is exactly the recipe a Diwali week needs.

The reason I rank Dilwali Diwali Netflix first is simple. It is released right in the middle of the festive window, it needs no previous season or franchise knowledge, and it works for a group of four or five people sitting together.

I always say that a family film succeeds when the oldest and youngest person in the room both stay till the end credits, and this is the kind of title that has a real chance of doing that.

Two practical facts about Dilwali Diwali Netflix. The running time and IMDb rating are not published yet, so ignore any website that quotes a score before release. If you are on a mobile plan, Netflix’s mobile tier is enough for this film, since it is a dialogue and emotion driven story rather than a visual effects spectacle.

Searching for Dilwali Diwali Netflix right now gives you plenty of rumour pages, so I will keep this section updated once the film is out and I have watched it end to end.

2. The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest and the Vvaan OTT Release Date

Now to the title behind the biggest Vvaan OTT release date question. The Vvaan stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Sidharth Malhotra, and it is a folklore thriller inspired by the Van Devi Temple near Patna. It reached cinemas on 25 September 2026 after being postponed from its original 28 August date, which is a gap of 28 days.

So what is the real Vvaan OTT release date? Prime Video holds the digital rights, but the makers have not officially announced a streaming date. Some reports point to 5 or 6 November 2026 as a tentative rental premiere, with regular subscription streaming expected from 20 November.

If you count from 25 September, 6 November is exactly six weeks and 20 November is exactly eight weeks, which matches the typical six-to-eight-week window I see for Hindi movies on OTT after a cinema run.

My advice on the Vvaan OTT release date is this. Do not pay for rent until Prime Video shows the film on its own page. The film received mixed reviews yet had a steady theatrical run, so there is no panic to watch it on day one.

If the rental does appear this Friday, treat it as a bonus; if not, the Vvaan OTT release date most likely lands before the end of the month.

Here is how I track a Vvaan OTT release date like this one:

• Check the official Prime Video India social handles first.

• Look for the Balaji Motion Pictures announcement posts.

• Ignore pages that quote a date without naming a source.

You can follow the platform-wise updates in our Prime Video section, where I post the confirmed date as soon as it is public.

3. Haiwaan SonyLIV: A Star-Heavy Hindi Thriller

Haiwaan SonyLIV premieres on 6 November 2026, and it carries the most star power of the whole week, with Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan sharing the screen. When two actors of that stature appear in one frame, the opening weekend numbers usually take care of themselves.

I expect Haiwaan SonyLIV to be the most searched title of Friday morning, and here is why. SonyLIV is not the first app people open on a festival day, so a single big film like Haiwaan SonyLIV has a large effect. If you have not renewed your subscription, this is the title I would use to justify one month.

For a quick budget view, I would compare Haiwaan SonyLIV against the other Friday premieres before paying. You can use the SonyLIV category page on our site to see every title from that platform in one place, and I will add my verdict there after the premiere.

My watch rule for Haiwaan SonyLIV is the same one I use for every one of the Hindi movies on OTT with a big star pair: watch the first 30 minutes, and if the tone pulls you in, clear your evening. Hindi movies on OTT live and die by the first act, so give it that window and no more.

4. Blind Game on ZEE5: Arjun Rampal and Priyamani in a Crime Thriller

Blind Game started streaming on 4 November 2026 on ZEE5, and it is the first release of the week to go live. It is among the Hindi movies on OTT this week, featuring Arjun Rampal and Priyamani, and the story follows a man who is drawn into a dangerous web of crime, lies and twists while searching for missing money.

What I like about the setup is how simple it is. Missing money is one of the oldest engines in crime fiction because it gives every character a reason to lie. At the same time, simple setups can go wrong when the writing cheats, so I will judge this one on whether the twists are earned.

Among new Hindi movies on OTT, Blind Game has one clear advantage: it is already available, so you do not need to wait for a Friday. If you like crime stories, our ZEE5 category lists other titles from the platform that match this mood.

5. Black Doves Season 2 on Netflix: The Spy Thriller Returns

Hindi movies on OTT dominate this week, and Black Doves Season 2 is the best international pick. The British spy thriller returns on 5 November 2026 on Netflix, with Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw reprising their roles.

This is a sequel, so my honest advice is to watch Season 1 first. Binge-watching a second season without the first is the fastest way to waste a good show.

If you finished Season 1 already, the Netflix release lands on the same day as Dilwali Diwali on Netflix, which gives you a very easy double feature: one family film in the afternoon, one spy thriller at night.

6. I’m Game on JioHotstar: Dulquer Salmaan’s Action Thriller

I’m Game streams on JioHotstar from 6 November 2026. It is a Malayalam action thriller led by Dulquer Salmaan, and it is also available in a Telugu-dubbed version according to the weekly listings.

I include I’m Game because even a week full of Hindi movies on OTT should never be only Hindi. South Indian titles are where I find the most surprising stories, and Dulquer has a record of picking scripts that feel different from the usual formula.

If you are watching with subtitles, set them to English before you press play, because action thrillers move fast and you do not want to pause and fix settings during the first fight.

You can find more titles from the platform on our JioHotstar category page, where I group Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi releases separately.

7. Last Man in Tower on ZEE5: Manoj Bajpayee in a Quiet, Powerful Drama

My seventh pick among the OTT Releases This Week is Last Man in Tower, which arrives on ZEE5 on 6 November 2026. Manoj Bajpayee leads a drama about one man who refuses to leave his flat, and that single idea carries real emotional weight.

Not every title needs a car chase. Some of the best Hindi movies on OTT are built on one stubborn character and one location, and Manoj Bajpayee is one of the few actors who can hold a screen with only that.

Pair this with Blind Game and you will have two ZEE5 titles that could not be more different in tone.

Day-by-Day Schedule of OTT Releases This Week

Here is a quick numerical view of Hindi movies on OTT and other titles so you can plan your viewing. I counted the titles listed across Indian and international schedules for the week.

• Wednesday, 4 November: at least 4 titles, including Blind Game (ZEE5), The Greatest (Prime Video) and Taken: Natalee Holloway (Netflix).

• Thursday, 5 November: at least 5 titles, including Dilwali Diwali (Netflix), Black Doves Season 2 (Netflix) and North of North Season 2 (Netflix).

• Friday, 6 November: at least 8 titles, including Haiwaan SonyLIV, I’m Game (JioHotstar), Last Man in Tower (ZEE5), Meesaya Murukku 2 (SonyLIV), Nooru Kodi Vaanavil (ZEE5), Possible Love (Netflix), Campus Drivers (Prime Video) and Under Siege (Netflix), plus the tentative Vvaan OTT release date.

That makes Friday the single heaviest day. If you want to see how the platforms compare on price before choosing which subscription to keep, check our weekly Weekend Watchlist for the shortlist I update every Friday.

My Watch Plan for OTT Releases This Week

Here is how I would personally spend the week if I had only 10 hours.

• Wednesday night (2 hours): Start Blind Game on ZEE5, since it is already live.

• Thursday afternoon (2 hours): Family time with Dilwali Diwali Netflix.

• Thursday night (1 hour): One episode of Black Doves Season 2, only if Season 1 is done.

• Friday evening (3 hours): Haiwaan SonyLIV, then decide on Last Man in Tower.

• Saturday (2 hours): I’m Game, with subtitles, and check whether the Vvaan OTT release date has been announced.

This plan covers three languages and uses four apps, so you can skip any one you do not have. It also puts a Hindi film on 3 of the 4 days, which suits anyone who mostly searches for Hindi movies on OTT.

Other OTT Releases This Week Worth a Mention

Seven picks are not the whole story. The calendar also includes the Korean film Possible Love on Netflix on 6 November, the historical thriller Under Siege on Netflix, the romantic drama Campus Drivers on Prime Video, the Tamil film Meesaya Murukku 2 on SonyLIV and Harish Kalyan’s Nooru Kodi Vaanavil on ZEE5.

If K-dramas are your thing, 10 new Korean titles are also streaming this week, including The Remarried Empress and Love in Disguise.

For animation fans, Minions and Monsters reached JioHotstar on 2 November, and Bass X Machina, a steampunk Western, arrived on Netflix on 3 November. Together with the main seven, these extra titles take the total well past 13 releases.

Conclusion

That is my complete guide to the OTT Releases This Week. If you remember only three things, make them these: Dilwali Diwali Netflix is the safest family pick on 5 November, Haiwaan SonyLIV is the biggest star pairing on 6 November, and the Vvaan OTT release date should be treated as tentative until Prime Video confirms it.

Whether you prefer Hindi movies on OTT, a spy thriller or a Malayalam action film, this week has more than enough to fill a long Diwali break.

Treat the dateBookmark Just Web Series and come back every Friday for the next round of OTT Releases This Week. Tell me in the comments which title you are starting with, and I will reply.
