“War 2 Release Date Out! Hrithik Roshan & Jr NTR To Star”
The production house Yash Raj Films (YRF) has officially announced that War 2 will hit cinemas worldwide on August 14, 2025. The action-packed sequel is part of YRF’s famous Spy Universe.
War 2 is directed by Ayan Mukerji and stars Hrithik Roshan, who returns after the first War movie. This time, South superstar Jr NTR will also join the cast.
YRF confirmed the news by sharing a fan-made promo on its official X (Twitter) page, saying, “There will be mayhem in cinemas on 14 August 2025, worldwide!“
The YRF Spy Universe started in 2012 with Ek Tha Tiger featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. It grew bigger with hit films like Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), Pathaan (2023), and Tiger 3 (2023).
YRF has many more big movies coming soon, including:
- Pathaan 2 with Shah Rukh Khan
- Tiger vs Pathaan with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan
- Alpha, the first female-led Spy Universe film starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari.
