The Indian epic Ramayana, a story loved for generations, is all set to return to the big screen in a grand way! Directed by the talented Nitesh Tiwari, this adaptation promises to be a visual treat, combining the magic of mythology with modern filmmaking.
The movie will be released in two parts:
This ambitious project has been in the works for over a decade. Producer Namit Malhotra shared his excitement, saying:
“This is our dream to bring the greatest epic to life with pride and reverence.”
The film boasts a stellar cast:
Adding to the excitement, Arun Govil, who famously played Ram in the 1987 series, will appear as King Dasharatha, and Lara Dutta will portray Kaikeyi.
Unlike other movies, both parts of Ramayana are being filmed simultaneously. This ensures a seamless story, bringing consistency to this epic tale.
Mark your calendars for Diwali 2026 and 2027 to witness the grandeur of Ramayana on the big screen.
