Lucifer has always been one of the most loved shows on Netflix and with the release of the trailer for season 5, we cannot help keep calm. Since the launch of the trailer, viewers want more and more details on the show and we are here to help you. Lucifer 5 introduces us to twin brother of Lucifer.
Lucifer goes back to hell at the start of the trailer but comes back later as Lucifer 2.0 whereas in reality, he is Lucifer’s brother Michaeal that is here. When there is family confusion, Michaeal confirms that he is here to take over his brother’s life. Eventually both Lucifer and Michael come face to face with each other. Since, we have not yet seen both Michael and Lucifer together, this trailer has got us all the more excited. The new season will start streaming from the 21st of August, 2020.
Netflix had earlier picked up Lucifer for the first time in 2018. Back then, Lucifer was cancelled from its original platform, Fox. Lucifer stars Tom Ellis in the titular role along with Lauren German, Kevin Alejandro, D. B. Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, and Scarlett Estevez in pivotal roles. With the popularity of the show, it was initially said that season 5 would be the finale of the show but latest news reveal that the series will end on a high note with season 6.
