Kesari 2: Ananya Panday As Lawyer?

Superstar Akshay Kumar is known for his action, comedy, and drama. His 2019 film Kesari was a huge hit, and now fans are excited for Kesari Chapter 2. The film follows the events after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

Earlier this week, Akshay shared the teaser, where he plays a lawyer. Now, new posters of the film featuring Ananya Panday and R Madhavan have gone viral. Fans spotted them in theatres and shared pictures online.

In the poster, Akshay is seen in an intense courtroom setting. R Madhavan is also dressed as a lawyer, wearing glasses and sporting a salt-and-pepper beard. Ananya Panday looks striking in a white saree, black waistcoat, and a lawyer’s band. Her hair is neatly tied in a low bun, and she has a fierce look in her eyes.

While some fans praised Ananya’s look, others were unsure about her casting. A fan wrote, “Ananya is growing as an actress,” while another said, “She looks funny as a lawyer, but hope she surprises us!” Some believed another actress would have suited the role better.

Ananya has played a lawyer before in Dream Girl 2 (2023), but this will be her first intense courtroom drama. Fans are eager to see Akshay, Ananya, and Madhavan together when Kesari Chapter 2 releases on April 18, 2025.
