Zomato co-founder Deepinder Goyal made his debut on The Great Indian Kapil Show alongside his wife, Mexican model Grecia Munoz (introduced as Gia Goyal). Joining them were Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy and author-philanthropist Sudha Murty.
In a teaser, Goyal shared a funny story about the day he and Gia dressed as Zomato delivery agents and surprised customers. He mentioned how customers were especially curious when Gia delivered the orders, drawing laughs from the audience. This highlighted the everyday challenges faced by delivery workers, and after their experience in Gurgaon, Ambience Mall has now created a special pickup point for food delivery.
Comedian Krushna Abhishek, dressed as Donald Trump, also joked about Zomato’s common delays during rains: “I want to tell a joke, but you’ll have to wait 5 minutes due to rain!”
NR Narayana Murthy added his own charm, sharing a sweet story about meeting Sudha Murty and describing her as “a breath of fresh air.”
This episode comes after Goyal’s announcement of stepping down from Shark Tank India due to Swiggy sponsoring the next season.
