Marvel Pushes ‘Blade’ Back, Predator Movie Takes Its Place

Marvel’s Blade has been officially removed from the 2025 release calendar, with Disney’s Predator: Badlands now taking its spot on November 7, 2024. Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who helmed the successful Prey in 2022, Badlands will star Elle Fanning in what promises to be another thrilling installment in the iconic Predator franchise.

Blade has faced major delays due to director changes, strikes, and other setbacks, leaving the highly anticipated vampire hunter film without a confirmed release date. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige emphasized that the team is focused on creating the perfect version of Blade, starring Mahershala Ali.

In addition to this, Marvel has secured several release dates for untitled films in 2028, keeping fans on their toes for more surprises.
