Roar of the lion is a drama web series produced by Kabir Khan and starring MS Dhoni. It is basically the story of the Indian Premiere League team, Chennai Super Kings who came back after a two year ban because they were accused in the 2013 match fixing case. The show was released on Hotstar on 20th March, 2019. It has a total of five episodes.

There are a lot of mixed reviews about the series with many claiming it to be too over the top while others praising it for the truth and reality that it tries to feature. Since it is a series, we agree that is an added layer of drama to it but on an overall level, the show unveils a lot of factors about what all goes in the minds of the players and the stakeholders of the team when such a situation happens. On an practical level, this is a must watch series to understand the other side of the story and the feelings the people go through.
