Lakhon mein Ek’ is an Indian web series created by Biswa Kalyan Rath. It is an Amazon Prime Original series. The main leads of the show are Ritwik Sahore, Alam Khan and Jay Thakkar. It is produced by OML production and was released in 2017.
Aakash has some dreams for himself but his dad wants him to join IIT and make the family proud. He doesn’t get admission in any college in Raipur since has scored only 55% marks. His father goes on to send him in a coaching institute in Vishakapatnam called Genius Infinity. He is put in the D section where all the weak students are admitted. There he meets his friends and buddies with whom his journey begins.
The series has tried to paint the picture of the life of a student preparing for IIT where everyone is judged based on their past marks and treated accordingly. It goes into the lives of the kids and what they go through everyday. It does not keep us gripped as we expected it to but if definitely does a good job in showing us the reality of these students.
