“Women in Blue” (“Las Azules”) will debut globally on Apple TV+ on July 31, 2024. The series will launch with the first two episodes, followed by a weekly release of one episode each through September 25, 2024.
Plot
Set in 1970, “Women in Blue” is inspired by the real-life stories of Mexico’s pioneering female police force. The series follows four women—María, Gabina, Ángeles, and Valentina—who join Mexico’s first female police squad only to find out it’s a mere publicity stunt. As they uncover a brutal serial killer case, they launch a secret investigation to capture the killer, facing numerous challenges along the way.
