Storyline:

“A Very Royal Scandal” is a three-part drama series from Amazon MGM Studios, set to air on Amazon Prime Video. It tells the dramatic story of Emily Maitlis’ journey leading up to her controversial 2019 interview with Prince Andrew on BBC Two’s Newsnight. Ruth Wilson plays Emily Maitlis, and Michael Sheen portrays Prince Andrew.

Background
This series follows the success of previous Amazon-produced dramas “A Very English Scandal” (2018) and “A Very British Scandal” (2021), which also focused on high-profile scandals.

Production began in the UK in November 2023.
