There are a lot of things that this pandemic has changed for us especially going out. With the new rules in place, people are hesitant to go out and also theaters do not have the permission to screen movies. Owing to this situation, the Nawazuddin starrer Ghoomketu is all set to release on Zee5 this weekend with the celebrations of Eid. Nawazzudin has announced this and the teaser looks like the movie is going to help us have a fun time.
The movie is produced by Phantom Films and Sony Pictures Network and directed by Pushpendra Nath Mishra. This will exclusively be available on Zee5. The movie will star Anurag Kashyap as a cop and Ila Arun as Ghoomketu’s aunt. There are also cameo appearances of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Chitrangada Singh, Lauren Gottlieb and filmmaker Nikhil Advani.
Ghoomketu as the name suggests takes us back to our roots and helps explore and remember our side. It is a quirky and funny film that an entire family can watch together. It revolves around Ghoomketu who is a writer who wants to make it big to Bollywood and hence leaves everything behind and heads to Mumbai- the city of dreams. His journey along the way is what the movie aims to capture and it does it beautifully with all of its characters. The movie has a rustic and real feel to it and will make you laugh that stress off. It is a definite light and fun watch for the entire family.
