Gulabo Sitabo, the first movie to direct take the route of being streamed on Amazon Prime Video without being shown in the theatres is finally here. The film released on Amazon Prime Video on the 12th of June, 2020 and stars Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushman Khurana in lead roles. It is the story of a landlord and a tenant who start to develop a bitter-sweet bond with each other over a period of time.
Gulabo Sitabo is a movie set in Lucknow and it leans around Amitabh Bachchan who is a landlord and has a lot of love for his old haveli. On the other hand, Ayushman Khurana is a tenant who is facing a lot of hardships. Knowing that his landlord does not have any offspring or anybody after him to claim the house, Ayushman’s character makes a plan to claim the house. In this ordeal, both of them realise they only have each other and end up forming a unknown bond.
The movie is a simple story that aims to explore the relationship between a landlord and a tenant. The little bickering that they have with each other and how they manage their lives. If you are looking for some strong story or subject line, you may well be disappointed with this movie. But, if you are just looking for simple relationship between a landlord and tenant, a simple story and some great dialogues, Gulabo Sitabo is the movie for you. It is a family entertainer and you will definitely enjoy this movie.
Gulabo Sitabo movie is releasing today (12-June-2020) on Amazon Prime Video on. We do not have any news yet of the next part of the sequel to this movie.
