A viral picture has been circulating since New Year’s Day, showing Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, and Aryan Khan offering prayers at Mecca. However, reports reveal the picture is fake and AI-generated.
In the photo, Gauri is wearing a black kurti and grey hijab, smiling at Shah Rukh, who is dressed in a white kurta. Aryan, also in a white kurta, is standing behind them. The backdrop shows Mecca’s iconic locales, but experts confirm the image was created using Deepfake or AI technology.
Back in 2005, Gauri spoke on Koffee with Karan about her views on religion. She shared that while she respects Shah Rukh’s faith, she wouldn’t convert. She said, “There is mutual respect. Shah Rukh would never disrespect my religion, and I wouldn’t disrespect his.”
Shah Rukh and Gauri, who started dating in the late 1980s, married in 1991. They have three children—Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam. Aryan is making his directorial debut with a Netflix series titled Stardom, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.
