“Ranbir Kapoor Calls Ramayan ‘The Greatest Story Ever'”

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor will soon be seen playing Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana Part-1’. The film also stars South actress Sai Pallavi as Mata Sita. Ranbir recently attended the ‘Red Sea International Film Festival 2024’ in Jeddah, where he shared his excitement about the role for the first time. He called it his “dream role” and said he feels grateful to be part of this epic story.

Ranbir revealed that he has already finished shooting for the first part of ‘Ramayana’ and that the second part will begin soon. He expressed how special it was for him to play Lord Ram, a role he has always dreamt of. “To be a part of that story, I am very grateful to play the role of Ram. It is a dream for me. This film teaches us about Indian culture,” he said.

The ‘Ramayana Part-1’ is set to release in 2026, with the second part coming in 2027. Pictures from the sets of the film, showing Ranbir as Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita, have already gone viral. The film also stars KGF actor Yash as Ravan and Ravi Dubey in his film debut as Lakshman.
