Pakistani actor Hania Aamir recently recreated the iconic Shanti Priya look, played by Deepika Padukone in the movie Om Shanti Om. She shared a short video on Instagram where she arrived in a car, just like Deepika did in the movie, as the song Aankhon Mein Teri Ajab Si played in the background. Hania wore a golden outfit and waved at the crowd, blowing kisses just like Shanti Priya’s character. She simply captioned the post, “Hi.”
Many fans loved Hania’s recreation. One fan wrote, “Hania and her Om Shanti Om addiction against the world,” while another commented, “Very well made. Iconic.” Some fans even joked about Pakistan’s cricket match loss, saying, “Match choro Hania Aamir tou hamaray hi paas hai na (Forget the match, we have Hania Aamir).”
Some fans were so impressed that they tagged Farah Khan, the director of Om Shanti Om, asking for a sequel. Others praised Hania’s looks, calling her “dreamy” and comparing her to a Hollywood actress.
However, not everyone was convinced. A few people felt that Hania didn’t match Deepika’s charm. One person commented, “Deepika ki baat hi kuch aur thi (Deepika was something else).” Another wrote, “She is zero in front of our Shanti… Deepika Padukone.”
Hania Aamir recently appeared in the Pakistani drama Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum as Sharjeena, alongside Fahad Mustafa. The show aired on ARY Digital and also featured Javed Sheikh, Naeema Butt, Bushra Ansari, and Maya Khan.
