Actor Vikrant Massey surprised everyone by announcing a break from acting. Early Monday, he shared on Instagram that he’s stepping back to focus on family. His final two movies will release in 2025, marking a temporary retirement.
Fans are split over the news. Many believe it’s just a break, as Vikrant used the phrase “for now” in his note. A Reddit user wrote, “He’ll be back. He’s too talented and loved!” Another said, “Good for him for prioritizing family. He’s been acting for years!”
Some fans, however, think it’s a publicity stunt or linked to something bigger. Speculation about him entering politics grew after PM Modi praised his recent film, The Sabarmati Report.
In his heartfelt post, Vikrant wrote:
“The last few years have been phenomenal, but it’s time to recalibrate. As a Husband, Father, & Son. And also as an Actor. Coming 2025, we meet for the last time. Forever indebted.”
While some respect his decision, others remain skeptical about what’s next. Only time will tell!
