Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine As Light made India proud by scoring a nomination for Best Film Not in the English Language at the BAFTA Awards 2025. However, Kapadia missed out on the Best Director and Best Original Screenplay categories.
The film was longlisted for three BAFTA nominations but secured just one. Earlier, All We Imagine As Light was nominated for Best Director at the Golden Globe Awards, though it didn’t win. The film tells the story of two Malayali nurses, Prabha and Anu, and won the Grand Prix award at the Cannes Film Festival. It is now streaming in India.
