“Govinda’s Son Yashvardhan On His Bollywood Debut Advice”

2025 has been an exciting year with many star kids making their Bollywood debut. Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani entered the industry with Ajay Devgn’s nephew Aaman Devgan. Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan also made his debut in Nadaaniyan alongside Khushi Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor’s sister. Now, fans are excited to see another star kid on the big screen—Govinda’s son, Yashvardhan Ahuja. He has already impressed social media with his smooth dance moves.

Yashvardhan is all set to follow in the footsteps of his father, Govinda, one of Bollywood’s most loved actors. Before landing his debut film, he worked as an assistant on Dishoom (2016) and Baaghi (2016). After auditioning for nine years, he finally got his first film, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sai Rajesh.

In a recent interview, Yashvardhan shared his father’s special advice:
“My father has never used abusive words on screen. His only advice to me was, ‘Filmon mein gaali-vaali mat dena’ (Don’t use bad language in films).”

He also spoke about how much he has learned from Govinda, saying,
“He believes everyone has their own journey. I never saw him learning his lines, yet his timing is always perfect. He has a photographic memory. No one can match him in dancing or comedy. Just watching him has taught me a lot.”

Just like Govinda, who gave 100 auditions before making it big, Yashvardhan also went through 79 auditions before getting his debut film, which is a romantic drama.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see if he can carry forward his father’s legacy in Bollywood.
