Malaika Scolds Teen: ‘Give Me Your Mom’s Number’

Actor and judge Malaika Arora took a stand against a 16-year-old contestant during the first episode of Hip Hop India Season 2. The show, streaming on Amazon MX Player from March 14, saw Malaika reacting strongly to the contestant’s inappropriate dance moves.

The contestant, Naveen Shah from Uttar Pradesh, performed on stage but made suggestive gestures, including winking and blowing kisses toward Malaika. Clearly upset, Malaika scolded him and said, “Please give me your mother’s phone number. You are a 16-year-old kid.”

Choreographer and co-judge Remo D’Souza tried to lighten the mood by joking with the contestant, but the situation had already become serious. Other contestants also felt the boy crossed the line, with one saying, “It was right to scold him.”

Later, Naveen’s father was called on stage. Surprisingly, his father admitted, “He looks innocent, but he isn’t. He chats with girls all night.”

The incident has gone viral on social media, with many people supporting Malaika for standing up against inappropriate behavior. One user commented, “She’s right, this was needed,” while another wrote, “Malaika is older than his mother, maybe.”

Some users also pointed out double standards online, while others called the contestant’s behavior “shameless.”

Hip Hop India Season 2 follows eleven dance acts with behind-the-scenes footage and personal video diaries. The show is hosted by Manisha Rani and Wicked Sunny. Malaika Arora is well-known for judging dance shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, India’s Best Dancer, and India’s Got Talent.
